Snake Plant Care Tips and Facts

No water, no sun? No problem! Not only are Snake Plants (Dracaena trifasciata) ridiculously easy to care for, they are super duper oxygen makers and air purifiers absorbing toxins from the air.

A type of succulent, Snake Plants hold water in their leaves making them tolerant of the occasional skipped watering and forgetful #PlantParent, plus they can handle any light conditions.

  • Perfect for forgetful and first-time plant parents

Sleep tight! Ideal for bedrooms, they convert CO2 (carbon dioxide) into O2

NASA proven air-purifiers, they absorb and remove toxins through their leaves such as formaldehyde + benzene. In fact, 6-8 Snake plants can produce enough oxygen to keep a person alive in a completely air sealed room!

Known by the sceintific name Sansevieria Trifasciata, the Snake Plant was reclassified to Dracaena Trifasciata back in 2017, but most still refer to it as a Sansevieria. Despite the confusing name-game, Snake Plants are easy to care for plants that come in a variety of shapes, sizes and even colours.
